Last Friday we had a Maupin family date night out. We were going to go to dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory, one of Jona's favorites, but Hailey reasoned that old spaghetti would be disgusting and probably make her throw up. So instead we went to the New Spaghetti Factory- a lot like the old one, but no throwing up. After dinner we watched the downtown Nashville Christmas parade. It was 28 degrees.
While the parade was fun to watch, the Christmas lights on the light posts were rather beautiful too.
Who is that???? Riding on that sleigh???? Could it be?????
SANTA!!!!!
Every other float in the parade was playing traditional Christmas carols, Santa's sleigh was playing Beyonce. Sometimes I don't get this city.

Hailey is going to love Christmas this year...the look on her face when she saw Santa says it all! Wish I could be there! I miss having little ones around!! What's with Beyonce?!?
